Our Team of Professional Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers are Always There ...
... To Provide You with Peace of Mind While Giving Your Furry Family the Care & Love they Deserve
As caring pet owners, we know that our pets experience less anxiety and stress when they can remain in their own home with a friendly visitor.
To alleviate the worry and demands caused by an out of town trip, an unexpected travel need, or if the requirements of employment have made your work day longer than expected, it is our pleasure to offer your pets wonderful companionship. We will visit, feed, walk and play with your pets during your absence and always provide lots of tender loving care. Additionally, we are trained in medication administration as well as performing other pet care requests such as crate and litter box cleaning.
Other services we offer free of charge while caring for your pets include mail and newspaper pick up, placing trash outside, opening & closing blinds and turning lights on & off to create the “somebody is home feel”.
We truly understand your feelings with regard to caring for your pets and any concerns you may have with a “stranger” coming into your home. Rest assured that they will be in our loving hands during your absence and we will do whatever we can to alleviate any apprehension you may have so you can concentrate on your “away from home” time.

HousePaws started out as Dr Lisa’s Mobile Veterinary Service in 2010, with one veterinarian and one technician working from Dr. Lisa’s minivan. After developing a business plan and working with some community business partners in getting over hurdles of funding and incorporation of the new practice, they were on the road! Word quickly spread about what they were doing in the South Jersey area and the business really took off. They needed to hire more mobile veterinarians to keep up with demand, so they decided to change the business name to HousePaws Mobile Veterinary Service in 2012.
Much of what HousePaws does in practice can and is done on the road in the homes of their patients. Certain things, like surgery, dentistry and some radiology procedures still require clinical facilities, and likewise some of their patients prefer to come to the hospital for a variety of reasons.
In 2013, HousePaws opened their first brick and mortar hospital in Mount Laurel, NJ, with
modern surgery, kennel, radiology facilities and a suite of exam and consultation rooms–all with
a comfortable home-like feel. Their goal was to bring that feeling of comfort to their hospital.
Not too long after that, their growing business has expanded veterinary hospitals in
Atco and Bergen County, New Jersey and Morrisville, Pennsylvania.
HousePaws employs a range of diagnostic and treatment techniques in our mobile practice that
can be tailored to the needs of you and your pet. In most of our practice areas, our doctors
have access to state of the art mobile radiology equipment for advanced diagnostic efforts.
A number of our doctors are certified in traditional healing methodologies as well as newer technologies such as cold laser therapy that they have found to have consistent positive results.
They are constantly adding to their inventory of knowledge and equipment to offer their patients
the most effective modern and traditional therapies to treat the extensive range of medical conditions they see every day. They also offer a variety of consultations through their mobile veterinary practice, including nutritional, weight loss/weight gain, allergies, behavior,
senior health, and puppy/kitten wellness care (just to name a few).
From its beginnings, HousePaws has grown in and out of the communities they serve. They work
with many volunteer organizations in both animal related communities and human health and welfare communities. Locally, they work with community partners in staging community pet wellness clinics. These events go beyond traditional vaccine clinics and provide a thorough pet examination, history, client education, flea/tick treatment and any vaccines which are needed. Their staff volunteer
with community volunteers in these events which receive funding from the Boo Tiki Near and Far Fund. HousePaws also sponsors regular ‘medical mission’ spay and neuter clinics in the
Caribbean, Mexico and occasionally Central and South America areas.
